LotClip Support

LotClip lets a dealership salesperson record a short vehicle video, add photos, a message and links, and send it to a customer as a branded page. Need help? Email support@lotclip.com and tell us your dealership, the email you sign in with, and what happened. A screenshot helps.

Getting an account

LotClip accounts are created for dealership staff. There is no public sign-up. Ask your dealership's LotClip administrator to add you, or email us and we will set you up. You get an email with a link to choose your password.

Signing in

Sign in with your email and password in the app or at admin.lotclip.com. If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we will email you a link. A password link works once and for a short time; if it has expired, ask for a new one the same way. If the email does not arrive, check your junk or spam folder.

Recording and sending clips

• Tap the red button to record. Tap it again to pause, and again to keep going. It is all one video.
• While paused you can flip between the back and front camera.
• After you save, keep the app open until the upload finishes. On a weak signal this can take a few minutes; the screen shows how far it has got.
• Send the clip by text or email, or copy the link and paste it anywhere.

Updating the app

If the app asks you to update, tap Update now to open the App Store or Google Play, install the new version, then open LotClip again.

Deleting your account or data

Email support@lotclip.com to ask for your account or data to be deleted. How we handle it is in our Privacy Policy.
